Prom.ua: update your catalog
Use a Prom export or YML feed. The result retains the source structure and product identifiers.

Step by step

Save an export or YML feed
An XLSX needs a title column, «Назва_позиції» or «Назва_позиції_укр»; Russian column headings are also supported. Keep product IDs, unique IDs, product codes and variant group IDs. For YML, keep unique offer IDs and the feed structure.

Select Prom.ua and a style
Select Prom.ua in the dashboard and upload .xlsx, .xml or .yml. XML must be a product YML feed. Choose a description style: Classic, Editorial, Soft or Cards. There is no separate market or language selector: this flow processes UA + RU.

Wait for generation
The job updates titles, descriptions, search queries and SEO title/description in supported fields. Variants in one group are processed and charged once. Descriptions previously generated by the service are skipped free of charge.

Download and review
An XLSX stays XLSX; YML stays XML/YML. Prices, identifiers and other fields outside the generated content are retained. Check language fields, variants and the unprocessed products report.

Update products in Prom
Import the result into the same store with identifiers intact. Select only the content fields you want to update in the import settings. Check field mapping and the policy for products absent from the file to avoid unintended changes.
Review the result
Wait for the job to finish in your history. Review the generated text and the available “Not processed” report, which lists identifiers and reasons for skipped or failed items. A downloadable file does not mean every product was updated.
Import checklist
- Do not edit identifiers manually: Prom uses them to match existing products.
- «Назва_позиції» is the RU title and «Назва_позиції_укр» is the UA title, including exports with Ukrainian column headings.
- This Uplify flow accepts .xlsx and YML (.xml/.yml), with no CSV or legacy .xls support.
